Building a brilliant future...
Dear Visitor,
My experience thus far:
My professional experience has been largely in customer/client service and satisfation. I have had six years of direct retail experience where I delivered the ultimate in customer service. More recently I have worked for the City of Philadelphia for the past 5 years. Most of that time I was a social worker in the Department of Human Services. In this position, I worked with under served populations of families and children that were victims of abuse or neglect. This was both a challenging and rewarding expreience. I believe that I learned a lot about culture and diversity, dynamic communication, client management, and supervisory skills and above all how to work in a fast-paced environment.
In August 2008, I transitioned into the human resources industry through the Office of Human Resources for the City of Philadelphia. In my role, I am responsible for the initial processing of applications coming into the city for employment and civil service pre-employment assessment creation and administration.
I have begun taking MBA courses at LaSalle University to further my knowledge of human resources and business in general. I intend to use this and prior educational and career experiences to continue to build my future as a Human Resources Professioanl and Organizational Behaviorist hopefully culminating in a career as an organizational and human resources management consultant primarily working with small to medium sized minority owned businesses.
I created this site to be used as a tool to increase the effectiveness of networking by offering a more in-depth introduction than the standard business card exchange. This site contains career information as well as community service information that I have been involved in. So in essence, I want you to know me more. You will find a copy of my resume here and my career journal which will give you insight into the career journey that I am on. There is also contact information available for me on the last page. Please feel free to leave comments or email me with information.
Thanks again for stopping by,
L. Bianca...
